Time for a pause

At the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees it’s time for a pause.

Time to be responsible and stay at home.

To take after ourselves and think of our loved ones.

To enjoy the cosiness of our homes and to feel at home once again.

To give our smile to those who most need it.

To see the positive things that surround us, which are many.

To emphasize values such as solidarity and responsibility, which invigorate us.

To be optimistic. Besides all the uncertainties and concerns that we are experiencing, each day is a step further.

The global emergency caused by Covid-19 imposes social distancing. But when all this comes to an end –and it will– we will all be able to hug again. The sky will be bluer and the forests, greener. Once again, we will smell the air of the sea and of pinewood; we will hear the rumour of the waves. Once again we will enjoy the Costa Brava beaches, the mountains of Girona Pyrenees, and the cultural heritage of the area. Together, we will experience again our seaside and mountain landscapes, because the beauty of our natural resources, our culture, sports and gastronomy are not going anywhere. All of them will be waiting patiently, ready to be cherished again by all of us.

We stay at home. But, in spite of the distance, we are beside you, getting ready for the comeback. We keep on working to promote tourism, striving to make the experience of our visitors as inclusive as possible, so that all people can enjoy Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees without barriers.

It’s time for a pause.

For you, for us and for all.
